Al Ittihad Beat Al Fayha 2-1 for Second Straight Win

Al Ittihad defeated Al Fayha 2–1 in the Saudi Pro League on 8 September 2026, in a match played at Alinma Stadium in Jeddah. The result marked the club's second consecutive league victory.

With the win, Al Ittihad reached 17 points after seven matches, placing the team second in the standings. Al Fayha, meanwhile, remained in 12th position with 6 points from the same number of games.

The three points keep Al Ittihad firmly in the race near the top of the table, maintaining the momentum built from their recent run of form. A back-to-back winning streak early in the campaign gives the squad a strong platform as the season develops.

For football fans in Jeddah and across the Kingdom, Alinma Stadium once again served as the stage for a competitive league fixture, drawing supporters eager to follow their club's progress. The tight scoreline reflected a closely contested encounter between the two sides.

Al Fayha will look to recover points in upcoming rounds to climb the table, while Al Ittihad aim to sustain their form and keep pace with the leaders as the season continues.
