Al Ahli Finish 3rd, Win AFC Champions League Elite

Al Ahli Saudi FC closed the 2025–26 season with a strong campaign, finishing 3rd in the Saudi Pro League and claiming the AFC Champions League Elite title in Jeddah.

In the domestic league, the club collected 81 points from 34 matches, posting a record of 25 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses. Leading the attack was Ivan Toney, who topped the league scoring charts with 32 goals and reached 42 goals across all competitions during the season.

The highlight came on the continental stage. Al Ahli won the AFC Champions League Elite after defeating Machida Zelvia 1–0 in extra time in the final, played in front of home fans at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

What's next for 2026–27

Looking ahead, Al Ahli are set to compete on multiple fronts: the Saudi Pro League, the King Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, the AFC Champions League Elite, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. The club continues under manager Matthias Jaissle, with home matches at Alinma Stadium in Jeddah, which holds 60,342 spectators.

For football fans across Jeddah and the wider Kingdom, the results reflect the growing competitiveness of Saudi club football, both at home and on the continental level, adding another season of standout performances for supporters to follow.
