Al Hilal Beat Al Ahli 3-0 as Watkins Scores on Debut

Al Hilal recorded a commanding 3-0 win over Al Ahli in the Roshn Saudi League on 1 September 2026 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, in a fixture rescheduled from the third round of the 2026-27 season.

New signing Ollie Watkins marked his Saudi Pro League debut with a goal, while Sergej Milinković-Savić and Crysencio Summerville completed the scoreline for the home side.

The three-goal margin underlined a confident performance from Al Hilal against one of the league's biggest names, and Watkins' immediate impact will encourage fans hoping to see the forward settle quickly into Saudi football.

For supporters across Riyadh and beyond, the result adds another notable chapter to the growing profile of the Saudi Pro League, which continues to attract high-level international talent and draw large crowds to venues such as Kingdom Arena. Matches like this reflect the wider momentum behind football in the Kingdom, both on the pitch and in the stands.
