Al Hilal Beat Al Fayha 1-0 but Miss League Title

Al Hilal secured a hard-fought 1–0 away victory over Al Fayha at Al Majma'ah Sports City Stadium on Thursday 21 May 2026, in matchday 34 of the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League. Kick-off was at 7:00 PM local time.

A crowd of 6,664 spectators attended the fixture in Al Majma'ah, with stadium entry managed through the usual electronic ticketing systems used across Saudi Pro League matches under national sports event regulations.

The win kept Al Hilal firmly in the title conversation, with the club closing the season on a remarkable record of 24 wins, 9 draws and no losses for a total of 81 points. Remaining unbeaten across the campaign underlined the team's consistency throughout the season.

Despite the away result, the league title slipped from Al Hilal's grasp. Rival Al Nassr won their concurrent fixture and finished ahead in the final standings, meaning the three points in Al Majma'ah were not enough to lift the trophy.

For football fans across Riyadh, Jeddah and the wider Kingdom, the tight finish highlighted the growing competitiveness of the Saudi Pro League. The season's dramatic conclusion offered supporters a reminder of how narrow the margins can be at the top of the domestic game, and set the stage for what promises to be an eagerly awaited new campaign.
