Postecoglou Named Al Nassr Head Coach for 2026–27

Al Nassr has appointed Ange Postecoglou as its new head coach on a two-season contract ahead of the 2026–27 Saudi Pro League campaign. He will lead a high-profile squad that includes Cristiano Ronaldo.

The club's 2026–27 league season is scheduled to begin on 13 August 2026, giving the new coaching staff time to prepare the team before the opening round of fixtures.

The appointment adds another notable name to the growing list of international coaches working in the Saudi Pro League, a trend that has accompanied the arrival of leading players from around the world in recent seasons.

For fans in Riyadh and across the Kingdom, the move signals continuity in Al Nassr's ambitions at the top of Saudi football. With Ronaldo remaining central to the squad, supporters will be watching closely to see how the new coach shapes the team's style and results over the two-year term.

Further details on the squad and pre-season preparations are expected as the 2026–27 season approaches.
