Al-Ittihad edged Al-Nassr 2–1 in Matchweek 5 of the 2026 Roshn Saudi League on 5 September 2026, in a lively encounter at Alinma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah.

George Ilenikhena set the tone early, opening the scoring in the 4th minute and doubling Al-Ittihad's lead in the 22nd minute. Al-Nassr pulled a goal back through Ângelo Gabriel in the 36th minute, but the visitors could not find an equaliser as Al-Ittihad held on for all three points.

A crowd of 47,661 filled the stands for one of the season's most anticipated fixtures, adding to the atmosphere of a fast-paced first half that produced all three goals.
