Al Nassr Fight Back to Beat Al Ettifaq 3-2

Al Nassr staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Al Ettifaq 3–2 away in Dammam on 25 August 2026, as the third round of the 2026–27 Saudi Pro League (Roshn League) continued across the Kingdom.

Al Ettifaq took control early and led 2–0 through goals from Ondrej Duda and Álvaro Medrán at IGO Stadium. But Al Nassr responded strongly in the second half, with Sadio Mané scoring twice and Abdulilah Al-Omari adding a third to seal all three points.

On the same night in Riyadh, Al Shabab and Al Riyadh played out an entertaining 3–3 draw at Al Shabab Club Stadium, with the lead changing hands several times. Yannick Carrasco netted a brace and Teddy Okou also found the net for Al Riyadh as the two sides shared the points.

The results left Al Nassr top form early in the campaign with 9 points from three wins, while Al Ettifaq stayed on 6 points from two wins and one loss.

Round three fixtures

Matchweek 3 also featured NEOM SC vs Al Qadsiah, Al Ittihad vs Al Hazem, Abha vs Al Khaleej, and Al Taawoun vs Al Fayha, alongside the two headline results.

The 2026–27 season kicked off on 13 August 2026 and runs until 29 May 2027. For fans planning to attend matches, standard league tickets for clubs such as Al Nassr, Al Ettifaq, and Al Shabab generally range from about 40 to 200 SAR depending on the opponent and stand, while VIP and hospitality seats often cost 300 SAR or more for major fixtures. Tickets are sold digitally through official club and league e-ticketing platforms, which require a local mobile number and national ID or iqama to register, with QR codes checked at stadium gates.
