Al Shubaily Grand Mall Starts Soft Opening in Khobar

Al Shubaily Grand Mall in Al Khobar, in the Eastern Province, began its phased soft opening on Thursday, 29 October 2026, at 4:00 PM, welcoming visitors as stores and facilities open gradually.

The soft-opening approach means the mall is opening in stages rather than all at once. Shops, dining options, and other facilities are coming online progressively over the coming period, giving the venue time to bring tenants and services into full operation.

An official grand-opening celebration is planned for 2027, though an exact date has not yet been announced. Until then, the mall will continue to expand its offering during the soft-opening phase.

Why it matters

For residents of Al Khobar and the wider Eastern Province, a new large-scale retail and leisure destination adds another option for shopping, dining, and family outings. Visitors planning a trip during this early phase should keep in mind that not every store or facility may be operating yet, as the lineup is still being rolled out.

Details such as admission arrangements, individual store timings, and dining options are expected to become clearer as more of the mall opens. Saudi Living will share verified updates as further information becomes available.
