Hayy Jameel Jeddah Hosts Hands-On Woodworking Course

Residents in Jeddah looking to pick up a practical new skill can now enrol in a hands-on woodworking course at Hayy Makers, located on the first floor of Hayy Jameel on Arwa bint Abdulmutalib Street in Al Muhammadiyah District. The programme offers two levels for beginners and more experienced hobbyists alike.

Woodworking Level 1 costs 600 SAR, including VAT and all materials. The course typically runs across three evening sessions from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. each day. Participants learn to work with hand tools, power tools and workshop machines, and complete the programme by building their own serving tray.

For those ready to take their skills further, Woodworking Level 2 is priced at 700 SAR, also inclusive of VAT and materials. Enrolment in Level 2 requires completion of Level 1 or equivalent woodworking experience.

Level 1 is scheduled for 10–12 October 2026, while Level 2 runs on 25–28 October 2026. Seats are limited, so early booking is recommended. Registration is handled through the "Book Here" button on the Hayy Jameel event listing, and attendance is confirmed by email.

The venue is open Wednesday through Monday from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. and is closed on Tuesdays. For enquiries, visitors can call +966 12 228 3430 or email [email protected]. The course adds to Jeddah's growing calendar of community learning and creative activities, giving locals a chance to develop real craftsmanship in a supported workshop setting.
