Aramco Sets October 2026 Arab Light Crude Prices

Saudi Aramco has issued its official selling prices (OSPs) for Arab Light crude for October 2026, updating the benchmark differentials used by refiners and buyers across Asia, Europe and the United States.

For Asian buyers, Arab Light was set at $2.00 per barrel below the Oman/Dubai average, unchanged from September. This stability reflects steady demand conditions in the region that accounts for the bulk of Saudi crude exports.

Pricing for the United States moved higher, with Arab Light set at $4.60 an increase of $1.00 from the previous month. In Europe, the crude was priced at $2.15 per barrel below ICE Brent for Northwest Europe and $2.35

Why it matters

Official selling prices are set monthly and serve as a key reference for global oil markets. They signal how Saudi crude is positioned against regional benchmarks and influence the flow of shipments to different destinations. The differentials are expressed in US dollars

For the community, these figures offer a snapshot of the Kingdom's export pricing strategy across major markets, though they do not directly affect prices at the pump for residents in Riyadh, Jeddah or other cities.
