10 Billion Steps Campaign Launches Across Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) has launched a nationwide community campaign called "10 Billion Steps," aiming to encourage walking and daily physical activity across all regions of the Kingdom. The initiative runs from July to December 2026, with a national target of recording 10 billion steps during that period.

Carried out under the slogan "Don't Count Your Steps… Let Them Count," the campaign invites individuals and communities everywhere in Saudi Arabia to take part. Registration and participation take place through the official SFA mobile application, which lets users join the initiative, track their daily steps, monitor their progress, and take part in challenges and activities throughout the campaign.

Why it matters

The initiative seeks to raise levels of daily physical activity, with a particular focus on making walking a sustainable everyday habit. It supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life program tied to community sport and public health.

Participation is community-wide and free through the SFA app, and no mandatory participation fees have been announced in the current 2026 communications. Information and updates are shared through the federation's official website and social media accounts.

Residents and expats who want to join can download the SFA app, register, and begin logging their steps once the campaign period opens, making it an easy way for families and communities to stay active together throughout the second half of 2026.
