CMA Licenses Wazan Al Nomu for Securities Advising

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has licensed Wazan Al Nomu Company to conduct advising activity in the securities business in Saudi Arabia, and confirmed that the company has completed the requirements needed to commence operations. The company may now begin providing securities advising services to clients.

the CMA approval for the license is dated 07/01/2025 G, while the completion of commencement-of-business requirements was confirmed and publicized in September 2026, corresponding to 24/03/1448H, through official capital market disclosure channels.

The license is granted under the Capital Market Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/30) dated 02/06/1424H and its implementing regulations. Wazan Al Nomu is classified within the CMA's list of Authorised Persons and Financial Market Institutions, with its commencement status now confirmed as active for advising.

What the license covers

The authorisation is limited to securities advising only. The current announcements do not indicate that Wazan Al Nomu is licensed for managing investments, operating funds, or dealing activities.

For residents and investors, the update signals another regulated advisory option entering the Saudi capital market. These approvals are processed through CMA platforms and Saudi Exchange disclosure channels — not through general government service platforms. The publicly available announcements do not specify licensing fees, service prices, or step-by-step procedural details for this particular license; those matters fall under the CMA's general licensing framework.
