Creative Forum 2026 Comes to Riyadh in September

Riyadh is set to host Creative Forum 2026, a two-day gathering of cultural leaders, artists and creative professionals, on 3–4 September 2026 at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC). The forum is organized by Misk Art Institute, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk).

The 2026 edition focuses on how art and cultural practices reshape society. Its themes include the human imprint in contemporary cultural practices, storytelling and identity, creative collaboration networks, and the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on culture.

Across the two days, the forum brings together more than 48 cultural experts, curators, academics, artists and policymakers. The program features 16 panel discussions, 8 artistic and cultural mentorship sessions, and 6 "Coffee with a Cultural Expert" sessions, alongside interactive experiences, debates, roundtables and tips-and-tricks sessions.

Why it matters

The forum is positioned as part of the Kingdom's emerging creative industry ecosystem, connecting local and international cultural figures in the capital. This year's edition continues a recent shift toward the social responsibility of cultural institutions and creativity's role in community development, building on lines established in the 2025 forum.

Registration is handled online through Misk Art Institute's official website, where event listings direct participants to sign up. Participation covers the two forum dates only. No official information has been published on ticket prices, registration fees or discount categories for the event.
