Riyadh will host the first edition of WTM Spotlight Riyadh from 8 to 10 September 2026 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center (RFECC), after the Ministry of Tourism was named the event's Strategic Partner. The partnership positions the gathering as a large-scale tourism occasion aligned with the growth goals of رؤية السعودية 2030.
The event aims to accelerate sector growth, attract tourism investment and strengthen international collaboration. It supports national targets that include reaching 150 million visitors and creating more than one million tourism jobs by 2030.
WTM Spotlight Riyadh will run in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer formats, combining conference sessions, networking events, feature areas and sponsorship packages. The programme is designed to connect Saudi and international tourism companies, buyers, investors and destinations. Opening hours on event days are listed as 13:00 to 21:00.
What visitors should know
For international attendees, organisers highlight the Saudi tourism eVisa as a key entry channel. It is described as a one-year, multiple-entry visa allowing stays of up to 90 days and is issued through official Saudi government online visa platforms.
No specific ticket prices, exhibitor package fees or sponsorship rates in ريال سعودي have been published for the 2026 edition. Materials refer only to strategic sponsorship and tailored promotional packages, along with exhibiting and visiting opportunities. Registration and exhibiting appear to be handled through the event's own dedicated platforms.
For Riyadh's residents and the wider business community, the event is a notable addition to the city's growing calendar of tourism and trade gatherings, offering a direct meeting point between local operators and global partners.
