Saudi Arabia is set to host LIONS Riyadh, a regional festival dedicated to creative marketing effectiveness and the wider creative industries. The event was launched in September 2026 and will hold its edition from 6 to 8 December 2027 at مركز الملك عبدالله المالي in الرياض. It is not taking place in 2026.
The festival is organized by Tahaluf in partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Media and the global LIONS network. Over three days, it will bring together marketing executives, creative leaders, agencies, brands, and emerging talent from Saudi Arabia, the wider Middle East, and around the world.
Unlike a traditional awards ceremony, LIONS Riyadh is planned as a non-awards event centered on learning and connection. The announced format includes keynote sessions, structured learning programs, and networking opportunities designed to develop skills and spark collaboration across the creative sector.
Why it matters
The launch reflects the growing role of the creative economy in Saudi Arabia, offering local professionals and young talent a platform to engage with international peers without traveling abroad. For agencies, brands, and freelancers in الرياض and beyond, it signals expanding opportunities in marketing, media, and design.
At this stage, several practical details remain unconfirmed. Ticket prices, registration fees, session schedules, access requirements, and official booking channels have not yet been announced. No government service such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ, or توكلنا is required based on the current announcement. سعودي ليفنج will share further details once official information becomes available.
