The Creative Forum 2026 concluded its two-day program in Riyadh, held on 3–4 September 2026 at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in the King Abdullah Financial District. Organized by Misk Art Institute, a cultural entity under the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), the event brought together cultural leaders, artists, and creative professionals from Saudi Arabia and abroad.
This year's edition ran under the theme "Arts Reshaping the World: Social Responsibility of Cultural Institutions," placing the focus on how art and cultural organizations contribute to social development and community transformation.
The forum featured a full program of 16 panel discussions covering contemporary cultural practices, storytelling, identity, creative collaboration networks, and the growing impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on culture. It also included 8 artistic and cultural mentorship sessions for artists and creative professionals, along with 6 informal "Coffee with a Cultural Expert" dialogue and networking sessions.
Additional formats offered interactive experiences, debates, roundtables, and the participatory program "Do I Know My Imprint?". More than 48 cultural experts, curators, academics, artists, and policymakers took part across the two days, engaging an audience of cultural leaders and stakeholders in the Saudi creative economy.
The forum reflects the expanding role of cultural programming in the Kingdom and offers artists and creative professionals a platform to exchange ideas, build networks, and explore the social value of the arts. Registration and event details were made available through Misk Art Institute's official online channels, including a dedicated event page.
