The Ministry of Education is organizing an internal health awareness event titled "An Hour for Your Health 2026" for its male and female employees at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh. The activity runs over two days and is designed as a staff-focused initiative rather than a public or paid event.
The program offers essential health tests, including blood pressure and blood sugar checks, along with physical fitness measurements. Employees can also access preventive consultations aimed at reducing obesity and smoking and encouraging healthier daily habits.
Additional stations cover motor rehabilitation supervised by physical therapy specialists for movement assessment and guidance, live demonstrations and interactive simulations held with sports organizations and federations, and smart nutrition programs offering healthy alternatives and organic products. The event also features mental fitness activities using competitions and games designed to develop mental abilities.
Why it matters
The ministry says the initiative is part of its broader awareness programs to enhance quality of life and raise health awareness among employees, while promoting active and balanced lifestyles within the work environment. The event is scheduled to coincide with the International Day of Sport and World Health Day in 2026.
Participation is organized internally for ministry staff, with no published fees or ticket prices and no external registration portal. The event is described purely as a health-promotion and awareness activity for employees at the Riyadh headquarters.
