GMNSM Plans First Child Sports Academy in Riyadh

GMNSM plans to open its first academy in Saudi Arabia, choosing Riyadh as the location for a center that pairs sports training with a child-first development philosophy. The planned academy will focus on Brazilian jiu-jitsu alongside programs designed to support how children grow and learn.

the academy's approach goes beyond physical fitness. Its program combines athletic training with goal-setting, emotional resilience, critical thinking, and problem-solving — skills aimed at helping young participants develop both on and off the mat.

The structured development programs are designed to welcome children from as young as two years old, offering age-appropriate activities that build confidence and discipline from an early stage.

Why it matters

For families in the capital, a dedicated academy that blends martial arts with broader life skills reflects growing demand for activities that develop children holistically. Brazilian jiu-jitsu, in particular, has gained popularity worldwide as a discipline that emphasizes focus, patience, and self-control rather than aggression.

At this stage, several details remain unconfirmed. There is no announced Riyadh district, opening date, fee structure in Saudi Riyal, class schedule, or booking process available yet. No GMNSM venue is currently confirmed to be operating in Saudi Arabia. Families interested in the academy will need to wait for further announcements as plans take shape.
