Housing Programs Warn Against Paid Fast-Track Scams

Saudi housing authorities have issued fresh warnings to beneficiaries of the Developmental Housing and Sakan programs, cautioning against fraudulent accounts and individuals who claim they can speed up allocation or grant priority in exchange for money. The programs stressed that any paid "fast-track" service is invalid and not recognized by the authorities.

Officials reaffirmed that registration and support services are completely free of charge, with no application or prioritization fees. Housing subsidy packages under Developmental Housing are non-refundable grants that carry no monthly installment obligation on the beneficiary.

Beneficiaries were explicitly instructed not to pay any amount to unlicensed intermediaries, brokers, or social media accounts for registration, follow-up, or faster allocation. The notices made clear that paying non-official parties does not affect the study of an application, the eligibility decision, or the allocation order, and does not create any right to housing support.

Official channels only

The primary official channels for housing support and eligibility services include the national housing portal and Sakan platform operated by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, as well as the Beneficiaries Care Center on 199090, available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday to Thursday. Verified customer-care social media accounts, including a dedicated housing handle, operate around the clock for inquiries.

Beneficiaries are urged to obtain information on eligibility, required documents, and application status only through the ministry's official portals, phone center, or verified accounts — never from private individuals or unofficial groups. For secure login and identity verification, housing e-services rely on the Kingdom's national digital identity channels, نفاذ and أبشر.

The clarifications matter for the many families relying on housing support, protecting them from financial loss and reminding them that a fair, fee-free process governs every application.
