As Saudi Arabia expands its live entertainment calendar heading into 2026, residents and visitors in Riyadh and Jeddah have a growing number of concerts, festivals, and stage shows to choose from — all licensed and regulated by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) nationwide.
For booking, the main consumer-facing channel is Visit Saudi's Saudi Calendar, which lists events with dates, venues, and starting ticket prices before redirecting buyers to authorized ticketing providers. Widely used platforms include Webook and Platinumlist, which handle GEA-licensed concerts and festival tickets, including Jeddah Season. Some large international events sell combined tickets through their own official sites.
The typical process is straightforward: choose an event on the Saudi Calendar or the season's official site, select a ticket category (standard, premium, or VIP), pay online, and receive an e-ticket with a QR code. You present the QR code at entry, and national ID or Iqama may be checked at large events. Note that government apps such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ, and توكلنا are not part of concert ticketing or show access.
Key venues and pricing
In Riyadh, the Kingdom Arena at بوليفارد سيتي (Hittin district) is the premier indoor arena for global concerts, WWE shows, and large festivals, with major headliner tickets recently starting from around 1,200 ريال سعودي for standard seating and higher for VIP. Doors for main shows commonly open around 6–7 pm.
Also at بوليفارد سيتي are the Mohammed Abdo Theater (about 18,000 seats) and the Abu Bakr Salem Theater (about 7,000 seats), alongside smaller halls used for Arabic music nights, comedy, and special series. In Jeddah, the MDLBEAST Onyx Arena near King Abdullah Sports City has served as the flagship indoor venue for موسم جدة concerts since 2024.
For the community, knowing the official channels helps avoid unauthorized resellers and ensures a smooth entry experience at the country's growing roster of live events.
