Jeddah National Day 2026: Events, Fireworks, Gulf Cup
Jeddah is set to host a broad program of National Day 2026 celebrations under the official slogan “Our Pride Is Our Nature” (عزّنا بطبعنا), bringing together sports, entertainment, and community activities across the city.
ROSHN Waterfront on the Jeddah Corniche will anchor several public events. The Ministry of Defense will stage air shows over three days ending 20 September 2026, free for visitors to watch from the waterfront. Along the Red Sea coast, Border Guard land and maritime parades and Royal Saudi Naval Forces vessel displays will also be open to the public.
Fireworks over Jeddah are scheduled for 21:00 on 23 September 2026, visible from waterfront areas including the Jeddah Corniche and near the Jeddah Yacht Club, with public viewing and no ticket fees mentioned.
Sports and community activities
The Green Spirit Run in Historic Jeddah (Al-Balad) offers 5 km and 2 km courses for adults and children, with around 6,000 runners expected. It is organized by Masafat Club in collaboration with national sports authorities. Online registration is implied but exact fees and steps have not been confirmed.
The Arab Sailing Championship 2026 (Optimist class) will take place at the Jeddah Sailing Center on the Red Sea coast, featuring about 90 young sailors from 13 Arab countries. In football, Gulf Cup 27 runs from 23 September to 6 October 2026, with opening matches on 23 September at King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium. Ticket prices and purchasing details have not yet been specified.
Rounding out the program, a National Day concert featuring Moudhi Alshamrani and Khadeejah Mouadh is scheduled for 24 September 2026 at Abadi Aljohar Arena in Jeddah. Together, the events offer residents and visitors a full week of free and ticketed activities across the city.
