Jeddah Promenade Hosts Free National Day 96 Show

Jeddah Promenade brought crowds together on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, for free public celebrations marking Saudi National Day 96, held under the theme “Our Pride Lies in Our Nature.” Families and visitors gathered along the waterfront for an evening of festivities that required no ticket or advance registration.

A fireworks display lit up the sky at 7:00 p.m., serving as the highlight of the evening for spectators across the outdoor viewing areas. The show was open to the public at no cost, making it accessible to residents and expats alike.

At the Jeddah Yacht Club within the Promenade, visitors watched a series of naval displays that included ship and boat formations, naval aviation, search-and-rescue demonstrations, vehicle parades, and military drills. The activities offered a rare close-up look at maritime and defense capabilities in a family-friendly setting.

Organizers kept access simple: the outdoor viewing zones were free, with no ticket, fee, or booking step needed, and no registration through any government platform. This open-access approach helped draw a broad turnout and made it easy for last-minute attendees to join the celebrations.

For the community, the event underscored how National Day gatherings continue to bring people together in shared public spaces, offering a no-cost way for families to mark the occasion by the sea.
