KAU Opens 2026 Admissions for Non-Saudi Students

King Abdulaziz University will open applications for non-Saudi students, both inside and outside the Kingdom, who wish to join its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Applications will be received from 16 September to 6 October 2026 through the Ministry of Education's Study in Saudi platform.

Applicants complete the process online: create an account, select King Abdulaziz University and the desired program, enter personal and academic details, upload the required documents, confirm their preferences, and submit the application. For 2026, the process has been centralized through Study in Saudi so that applicants residing inside and outside Saudi Arabia use the same channel.

Fees and payment

Tuition amounts depend on the specific fee-based program chosen; there is no single fee that applies to all undergraduate or postgraduate programs. Where fees apply, the university issues an electronic invoice through its admission portal, and payment is made via the university's electronic payment gateway.

Scholarships

Separate international scholarship applications may cover tuition, accommodation, and living expenses, subject to program and eligibility conditions. For public-university international scholarships, age limits are set at 17–25 years for undergraduate and Arabic-language programs, up to 30 years for master's, and up to 35 years for doctorate.

This matters for the many families in Riyadh, Jeddah, and across the Kingdom whose children are planning their higher education. Centralizing admissions through one platform aims to make the application steps clearer for international students at one of the country's largest universities. Prospective applicants should prepare their academic documents ahead of the September window and confirm the exact requirements for their chosen program.
