Madinah Chamber Workshop Backs Vehicle Repair SMEs

Owners of vehicle maintenance and repair businesses in Madinah are invited to a free virtual workshop on Monday, 17 August 2026, at 2:00 PM. The session is organized by the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (منشآت) and the Human Resources Development Fund, and is aimed at small and medium enterprises operating in the sector.

The workshop will introduce منشآت services and support programs for SMEs in vehicle maintenance and other sectors, including consulting, mentorship, training, and business development. It will also cover programs delivered through the SMEs Support Center in Madinah, such as advisory and mentorship services tailored to automotive maintenance activities.

The Human Resources Development Fund will explain employment support programs for Saudi nationals working in the sector, along with on-the-job training and wage support mechanisms for employers who hire and train Saudis. Attendees will also learn about talent attraction services and tools for sourcing qualified workers for maintenance and repair activities.

Why it matters

The goal is to familiarize business owners with the enablers available to develop their operations and strengthen their workforce, while connecting establishments with the relevant government entities. Organizers say the aim is to support the growth, efficiency, and sustainability of the vehicle maintenance and repair sector across Madinah.

Attendance is available through an online registration link on the Madinah Chamber website. The session is described as a general awareness and support event with no participation fee stated, indicating free attendance for business owners and interested participants. The workshop focuses on support programs and business enablers, and does not introduce new licensing fees, municipal charges, or regulatory procedures.
