Organizers at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah have announced that the gates of Alinma Stadium will open early — four and a half hours before kickoff, at 16:30 — for Al Ahli's home match against Auckland City in the first round of the FIFA Clubs Confederation Cup. The match is scheduled to kick off at 21:00 local time.
The early opening is intended to accommodate the large expected crowd and to ease entry and crowd flow around the venue. The stadium's football arena is currently branded as Alinma Stadium (ملعب الإنماء) for sponsorship purposes.
Specific gate allocations for the fixture will be announced on the stadium's official account on X one day before the game. Gate No. 1 is designated for spectators holding VIP tickets, while Gate No. 2 is reserved for media and holders of gold and silver platform tickets. The remaining gates will serve spectators with standard unified-category tickets (الدرجة الموحدة).
Why it matters
For other high-demand fixtures at the stadium, recent practice has been to open spectator gates four hours before kickoff, with the option to bring opening forward to 16:00 if crowd density is high. Opening earlier this time gives fans more time to reach their seats comfortably and reduces congestion at entry points.
Al Ahli home tickets in 2026 are sold through online ticketing platforms dedicated to Saudi Pro League and club events, with event pages listing Alinma Stadium at King Abdullah Sports City as the venue. Ticket prices at the venue typically range from around SAR 35 for normal seats to roughly SAR 300 for silver seats, while golden seats can range from about SAR 300 up to SAR 2,500 depending on the fixture and seat category.
Spectators are encouraged to plan their arrival early and to check the stadium's official channels for the confirmed gate assignments before match day.
