Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar to Open in 2026

A new 47,000-seat venue, Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar, is scheduled for completion and opening in 2026, positioning the Eastern Province to welcome fans for one of the region's biggest football events.

The stadium is expected to host its first match in January 2027 as part of the AFC Asian Cup 2027. The official event calendar lists Australia against Singapore on 9 January 2027 as one of the fixtures to be played at the venue.

Once operational, Aramco Stadium will serve as the home ground of Al-Qadsiah Football Club, giving supporters in the Eastern Province a modern, large-capacity arena for domestic matches and major international competitions.

For residents in Al Khobar, Dammam and across the Eastern Province, the stadium represents a significant addition to the area's sporting and entertainment infrastructure, with the capacity to attract regional visitors and host high-profile tournaments.

No confirmed public ticket prices, general opening hours, or regular visitor-access procedures have been announced for the stadium at this stage. Saudi Living will share further details as they become available.
