Construction of the new Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, is nearing completion, with the venue expected to be finished in October 2026 and officially opened during the same year. The stadium will offer a capacity of approximately 47,000 seats.
Located at the intersection of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Road and King Fahad Road, the stadium will serve as the home ground of Al-Qadsiah Football Club, giving the club and its supporters a modern, purpose-built venue in the Eastern Province.
The stadium is also expected to feature among the venues hosting matches of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, placing Al Khobar on the map for one of the region's most significant football tournaments.
Why it matters to the community
For residents and football fans across the Eastern Province, the new venue promises improved matchday facilities and the chance to attend major international fixtures closer to home. Its central location along two key roads is set to make access more convenient for spectators.
No official ticket prices, opening-event dates, public-tour fees, operating hours, or booking channels have been announced yet. Ordinary stadium attendance does not require any special government procedure. Saudi Living will share further details as they become available.
