Saudi Fintech Hala Raises $157M at $900M Valuation

Saudi financial technology platform Hala has raised USD 157 million (about SAR 588 million) in a Series B funding round, pushing its valuation to around USD 900 million (roughly SAR 3.38 billion). The round was announced in September 2025 and co-led by TPG and Sanabil Investments, a division of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.

Hala is a Saudi-based fintech company focused on business banking and payment services for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as freelancers across the Kingdom. Its platform is built around the day-to-day financial needs of smaller businesses, a segment that has expanded rapidly as more Saudis and residents launch their own ventures.

The size of the round makes it stand out regionally. Public data describes it as one of the largest fintech Series B rounds in the Middle East and among the largest early-stage funding rounds for any startup in the region.
