Saudi banks have launched a national campaign to support startups, micro-enterprises, and small and medium-sized enterprises across the Kingdom. The campaign, titled “From…To: Saudi Banks with You Every Step,” was launched on 28 September 2026 by the media and awareness committee of the Saudi banking sector.
The initiative aims to accompany business owners through their entire journey — from opening a commercial bank account, through daily operations, and on to financing, growth, and expansion. It reflects a broader push to make banking services more accessible for the small business community that plays a central role in the national economy.
Beyond financing, the campaign highlights a range of non-financing services designed to help entrepreneurs run and grow their businesses. These include point-of-sale solutions, the Wage Protection System, business cards, and digital banking tools that streamline day-to-day management.
What business owners should know
Financing under the campaign is available only after an applicant meets the relevant bank’s credit-readiness requirements. These include maintaining regular financial statements and holding a credit record with SIMAH. Meeting these conditions helps businesses present a clear financial picture when seeking funding.
It is important to note that applications and terms vary depending on the participating Saudi bank and the specific product chosen. The campaign does not set fixed fees, prices, financing amounts, application steps, validity periods, or a single official channel. Business owners are encouraged to check directly with their bank for the details that apply to their case.
For the Kingdom’s growing base of entrepreneurs and small business owners — including many expats operating enterprises in Riyadh and Jeddah — the campaign offers a clearer path to understanding the banking support available at each stage of building a business.
