Musaned Expands Recruitment to 39 Countries in 2026

The Musaned platform in Saudi Arabia broadened its reach in the first half of 2026, enabling domestic worker recruitment from 39 countries across 27 professions. The expansion gives Saudi employers wider options through a single official channel run by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

During the same period, Musaned linked employers with 6,164 external recruitment agencies and 721 domestic recruitment offices, strengthening the network available for arranging contracts and completing procedures electronically.

What it costs in 2026

The Ministry has set maximum office fee caps by country (excluding 15% VAT). These include approximately SAR 14,700 for the Philippines, SAR 13,800 for Sri Lanka, SAR 11,750 for Bangladesh, SAR 10,000 for Thailand, SAR 9,000 for Kenya, SAR 8,300 for Uganda, SAR 7,500 for both Sierra Leone and Burundi, and SAR 5,900 for Ethiopia.

A typical total first-year cost through the office route ranges from roughly SAR 11,400 to SAR 28,300. This usually covers the recruitment office fee (about SAR 5,000–15,000), a visa fee (about SAR 2,000–4,000), medical insurance (about SAR 1,500–2,500), a flight ticket (about SAR 2,000–5,000), medical tests (about SAR 400–800), and the iqama fee (about SAR 500–1,000). A basic platform fee for managing the electronic application is around SAR 172.50.

Many private guides report that recruitment fees in 2026 generally fall between SAR 12,000 and SAR 22,000, varying by nationality and experience. Monthly salaries for domestic workers hired through Musaned typically range from about SAR 1,000 to SAR 2,000.

For families and residents planning to recruit help, the expansion means more nationalities and clearer, capped pricing through the official electronic platform — helping households compare costs and complete procedures with greater transparency.
