The General Real Estate Authority has begun in-kind real estate registration for 46,538 properties across the Riyadh and Al-Qassim regions, including 36,261 properties in Riyadh and 10,277 in Al-Qassim. The registration period runs from Sunday, 6 September 2026, to Thursday, 10 December 2026.
Registration in this phase is handled through the electronic Real Estate Registry platform (rer.sa) and dedicated service centers, and is also available via a mobile application that supports login with national digital identity systems. Initial registration requires a valid title deed that meets all regulatory requirements, including complete ownership data and an updated electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice where applicable.
Once first-time registration is completed successfully, the system issues a unique property number and a title registration deed for each unit, covering property data, descriptions, status, associated rights and obligations, and geospatial information. In Al-Qassim's Dukhnah area, targeted neighborhoods in this phase include King Abdullah, Al-Quds, Al-Rabwa, Al-Nahda, parts of King Fahd, Al-Andalus, and Al-Salam, along with additional surrounding areas.
The Authority urges owners in the targeted districts to verify their title deeds and confirm all conditions are met before starting, particularly the presence of an updated electronic deed and complete ownership information. Property owners in specified areas face defined deadlines and may be subject to fines for non-compliance if they fail to register on time. For inquiries about registration steps, eligibility, and technical support, the customer service center number is 199002.
This phase is part of a wider 2026 rollout covering multiple regions and 115 districts, with parallel campaigns spanning 167,352 properties across Riyadh, Qassim, Tabuk, Hail, and the Eastern Province, all using the same platform and service centers.
