Riyadh Hosts National Day Air Show in Malham

Riyadh hosted the main National Day show over two days at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham, north of the capital. The public event ran on 22 and 23 September 2026 and drew families and visitors to a program of aerial and military displays.

Gates opened at 2:00 p.m. on both days, while the main air-show displays began at 4:00 p.m. Visitors watched aircraft flypasts alongside a lineup of ground activities that showcased the Kingdom's armed and security forces.

The program included pavilions from the Royal Saudi Land Forces, the Border Guard and the Aviation Club, in addition to Royal Guard cavalry, military vehicles and performances by military bands. The mix of flying displays and hands-on pavilions gave attendees a close look at equipment and units rarely seen together in one place.

Why it matters

The Malham venue offered residents and expats in and around Riyadh an accessible way to mark the national occasion, with the site opening its doors to the public. No confirmed ticket price was reported, and no advance registration requirement was announced for entry.

The Riyadh program concluded on 23 September 2026 after the second day of displays.
