Ronaldo Nets First League Goal in Al Nassr 4-0 Win

Cristiano Ronaldo opened his goal-scoring account for the season as Al Nassr defeated Al Riyadh 4-0 in an away Saudi Pro League fixture on August 21, 2026.

The strike marked Ronaldo's first league goal of the new campaign and was part of a comprehensive four-goal display by his side, who left no doubt about the result on the road.

The comfortable margin gave Al Nassr an early boost in the standings and set a confident tone for the weeks ahead, with the team showing strength on both attack and defence throughout the match.

Why it matters

Football remains one of the most followed pastimes for residents and expats across the Kingdom, and matches involving the Saudi Pro League's biggest names continue to draw large audiences in Riyadh, Jeddah and beyond. Ronaldo's return to the scoresheet is likely to add further excitement to the season for fans following the competition.

With the campaign now underway, supporters will be watching closely to see whether Al Nassr can carry this momentum into their upcoming fixtures.
