Royal Order Promotes, Appoints 34 Board of Grievances Judges

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order on 4 September 2026 promoting and appointing 34 judges at the Board of Grievances, the Kingdom's administrative judiciary authority.

The order relates to promotion and appointment only. It does not create or change any fees for litigants or government entities, and it does not specify any Saudi Riyal amounts, service prices, or procedural charges.

The Board of Grievances is Saudi Arabia's administrative judiciary. Matters such as the appointment, promotion, transfer, training, and secondment of its judges are handled under the Law of the Judiciary and the Law of the Board of Grievances, and are enacted by royal orders based on recommendations from the Administrative Judicial Council.

What it means for the community

Judicial promotions and appointments at the Board of Grievances are internal human resources and governance decisions. They do not require applications or payments through Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, Balady, Tawakkalna, or Etimad.

There are no public user steps, channels, or validity periods tied to this royal order. For residents and businesses, the decision reflects continued efforts to strengthen the capacity of the administrative judiciary, without introducing any new procedures or costs for the public.
