SABIC Q3 Revenue Rises 14% to SAR 28.17 Billion

Industrial giant SABIC reported stronger financial results for the third quarter of 2026, posting revenue of SAR 28.17 billion, a 14% increase compared with the previous quarter.

The company said its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached SAR 4.75 billion, up 40% quarter-on-quarter. Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) climbed to SAR 2.17 billion, a sharp rise of 434% from the prior quarter.

Perhaps most notably, the company returned to profitability, recording an adjusted net income of SAR 840 million. That marks a clear turnaround from an adjusted net loss of SAR 380 million in the second quarter.

Why it matters

As one of the largest listed companies in the Kingdom, SABIC's performance is closely watched as an indicator of the health of the wider industrial and petrochemical sector. The quarter-on-quarter improvement across revenue, operating profit and net income points to a recovery in operating conditions.

The results also carry weight for the broader economy under the Kingdom's industrial diversification goals, where a robust manufacturing and chemicals sector supports jobs and investment. For residents and the business community alike, the figures signal firmer momentum heading into the final stretch of the year.
