SABIC Agri-Nutrients reported a sharp decline in earnings for the third quarter of 2026, with net profit falling 62.5% year on year to SAR 484 million, down from SAR 1.29 billion in the same period a year earlier.
The company's third-quarter revenue reached SAR 3.22 billion, an 8.6% decrease compared with the corresponding quarter of 2025. Operating profit fell more steeply, dropping 66.7% to SAR 408 million.
For the first nine months of 2026, net profit stood at SAR 2.089 billion, compared with SAR 3.334 billion in the same period of the previous year. Nine-month revenue came in at SAR 8.505 billion, down from SAR 9.883 billion a year earlier.
The company attributed the lower results to reduced contributions from an associate and a joint venture, along with higher selling, distribution, and shipping expenses tied to supply-chain disruptions.
The results offer a snapshot of how global supply-chain pressures and shifting market conditions continue to affect major Saudi industrial players. For the wider business community, the figures highlight the ongoing challenges facing export-focused sectors, even as companies work to manage rising logistics costs.
