Sales 2026: Over 1 Million Discounted Items Nationwide

Shoppers across Saudi Arabia can now access more than one million discounted products as part of the nationwide Sales 2026 season, an exceptional three-month discount period running from early August through the end of October 2026. The campaign covers both physical retail outlets and e-commerce platforms in cities including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

The season spans a wide range of categories, including groceries, consumer goods, electronics, electrical appliances, fashion and clothing, perfumes, cosmetics, and school supplies. This gives residents and expats a broad selection of deals to compare across in-store and online offers during the back-to-school period and beyond.

How the discounts work

Discount permits for the 2026 season are issued electronically through a dedicated online sales portal (sales.mc.gov.sa). Commercial establishments and online stores submit applications, receive their licenses digitally without visiting any branch, and then print and display the permits for consumers inside their premises or on their websites.

Importantly, this exceptional three-month window does not count against the standard annual discount quota. Businesses keep their regular 90-day annual discount balance in addition to the Sales 2026 period, encouraging more retailers to take part.

The campaign is designed to expand consumer choice, make price comparison easier, and support healthy competition in the market. For shoppers, that means a longer stretch of the year with verified, licensed discounts across a large volume of products—an opportunity to plan major purchases, from household electronics to seasonal clothing, at reduced prices.
