Saudi Investor Visa & Business Visit Visa Fees 2026

Investors and business travelers eyeing Saudi Arabia have a clearer picture of the visa options and fees available in 2026, spanning long-term investor residency and short-term business visit visas. The routes differ sharply in cost, validity, and the activities they permit, making it important to match the right visa to the intended purpose.

Investor residency

Under the Premium Residency framework, the investor residency category carries a government fee of SAR 4,000. Broader Premium Residency options include a one-time SAR 800,000 fee for unlimited residency, or SAR 100,000 Applications go through the official channels linked to وزارة الاستثمار and the national residency platform, and require proof of investment, a business plan, and evidence of financial capacity. Approval grants the right to live in the Kingdom and carry out approved business activities, subject to ministry review.

Investors sponsoring workers under their company follow the national schedule: a SAR 2,000 visa issuance fee through قوى, a SAR 9,600 annual work permit levy, SAR 650 for yearly iqama renewal, plus mandatory medical insurance of roughly SAR 2,000 to SAR 10,000 dependents, and coverage.

Business visit visas

For shorter stays, sponsored business visit visas start at around SAR 300–330 for single entry, about SAR 791 for a one-year multiple-entry visa, and roughly SAR 1,085 for a five-year multiple-entry visa. Processing fees typically add SAR 60–150, while short-stay medical insurance runs SAR 150–300, or up to SAR 950 in some e-visa cases.

Single-entry business visas are usually valid up to 90 days from issue, with stays of 30 to 90 days. Multiple-entry visas run from six months to five years, with per-visit stays generally up to 90 days, and up to 180 days if approved. Note that since February 2025, several Asian and African nationalities have seen multiple-entry business visas restricted to single-entry visas capped at 30-day stays until further notice.
