Saudi Tennis Federation Opens 2026 Junior Tournaments

The Saudi Tennis Federation is rolling out a full calendar of national junior ranking tournaments in 2026, covering age groups from Under-8 to Under-18, as part of efforts to develop young talent and widen participation in the sport across the Kingdom.

The events are organized through the Federation's official platform, tennissaudi.sa, under the "Tournament Calendar" section, where each competition is listed with its dates, location and registration windows. Early-year fixtures are concentrated in the Eastern Province and Al Ahsa.

Among the scheduled tournaments: the 1st 10-9-U8 Ranking Tournament for Clubs in Al Ahsa from 22 to 25 January 2026; the 1st U12–U16 Ranking Tournament for Clubs in Al Ahsa from 29 January to 1 February; and the 1st U14–U18 Ranking Tournament for Clubs in Dammam over the same dates. A 2nd U14–U18 Ranking Tournament follows at Prince Abdullah bin Jelawi Sports City in Al Ahsa from 12 to 15 February 2026.

How to register

Registration is handled entirely online through the official Saudi Tennis Federation website. Families and clubs select the desired tournament from the 2026 calendar and use the "Register" function on the event page during the stated opening and closing dates. Each tournament page also lists a withdrawal window, and any withdrawal must be submitted within those dates to remain valid.

The junior tournament pages currently visible do not list specific registration or participation fees in riyals for the U8–U18 club events. For internationally sanctioned junior events held in Saudi Arabia, entry fees are capped by external regulations and usually quoted in US dollars, with local-currency equivalents depending on the exchange rate used by organizers.

For young players and their families in Riyadh, Jeddah and beyond, the expanding calendar offers a clear, structured pathway into competitive tennis, with ranking points on offer across multiple age categories throughout the season.
