Saudia Climbs to 15th in 2026 Skytrax Rankings

The national carrier الخطوط السعودية (Saudia) has climbed to 15th place globally in the 2026 Skytrax World's Top 100 Airlines ranking, marking its third consecutive year of improvement.

The airline moved up from 17th place in 2025 and 20th in 2024, reflecting a steady rise over the past three years. Regionally, Saudia secured third place among airlines in the Middle East for 2026.

The carrier also retained its title for Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East, an award recognizing the quality of its onboard and ground crew experience.

Why it matters

For residents and travelers across the Kingdom, the improved ranking signals continued progress in service standards for one of the region's busiest carriers. Saudia connects Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and other Saudi cities to destinations worldwide, serving millions of passengers each year, including pilgrims, business travelers and families.

The steady climb over three consecutive years points to ongoing investment in passenger experience, from cabin service to staff training. For the wider community, a stronger national airline supports the Kingdom's growing tourism and travel sector.
