Sports Culture Conference Set for Riyadh in January 2026

Preparations are underway in the Kingdom for the International Conference and Exhibition of Sports Culture, set to take place in Riyadh from 27 to 29 January 2026 (8–10 Shaaban 1447 AH). The event is organized by the Saudi Sports Culture Federation in cooperation with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and will be held on the university campus in the capital.

This first edition carries the theme “Culture of Sports Tourism and Recreation,” spotlighting sports tourism, recreational activity, quality of life, and the role of sport as a developmental, cultural, and economic driver in line with Vision 2030.

Over three days, the program will feature scientific sessions, workshops, and training courses, alongside an accompanying exhibition bringing together local and international experts and organizations.

How to take part

Researchers and attendees can follow a set of key deadlines: research abstracts are due by 15 December 2025, with accepted abstracts announced on 25 December 2025. Full papers must be submitted by 10 January 2026, while general registration closes on 20 January 2026.

Participants are required to attend all conference sessions, and submitted papers must align with the conference themes and follow the required format within the stated deadlines. Registration takes place through the federation's official conference webpage and online forms, while general inquiries can be directed to the official conference email iscc@saudisscf.sa.

As of now, official pages have not disclosed exact fees in Saudi Riyals for attendance, research participation, or exhibition booths. For the community, the event offers residents, students, and professionals across Riyadh a chance to engage with a growing sector tied to tourism, recreation, and the Kingdom's wider development goals.
