Unaizah Hosts Indoor Archery Championship

The indoor sports hall of Al-Arabi Club in Unaizah Governorate, Qassim Region, opened its doors this August to more than 95 archers competing in an indoor archery championship, marking the first tournament of the 2026-2027 sports season organized by the Saudi Archery Federation.

The competition, which opened on or about 22 August 2026, brings together archers representing 12 clubs from across Saudi Arabia. Both male and female archers are taking part across various categories held inside the club's covered hall.

Organizers say the championship is designed to raise the technical level of local archers, increase overall participation in the sport, and identify promising talent that can be developed for the future. The event also aims to strengthen the national teams by giving athletes competitive experience under tournament conditions.
