Tawakkalna, the Kingdom's national government super-app, has recorded an average of more than 4.4 billion transactions 3 million active monthly users across the past six months, underscoring its position as one of the most widely used digital platforms in Saudi Arabia.
Operated under the Saudi Data and AI Authority, Tawakkalna brings together more than 1,100 electronic services from around 80 government entities, serving citizens, residents, and visitors from a single application. Total registered users have surpassed 33 million, with the platform's core services offered without any subscription charges.
A daily gateway to government services
The app has evolved into a comprehensive services hub covering digital identity, health, travel, driving, city services, and organ-donation registration, among others. Services are available in seven languages and can be accessed from 77 countries, making it a practical tool for the Kingdom's diverse community. Tawakkalna also connects with national platforms such as Absher and Najiz, along with a range of ministry services.
Its scale is reflected in more than 1.2 billion messages sent to users and hundreds of millions of digital-wallet reviews, pointing to how deeply the app is woven into everyday routines. In the 2026 Government Digital Experience Maturity Index, Tawakkalna ranked first in beneficiary satisfaction among Saudi government digital platforms.
For residents and expats, the numbers signal continued convenience: many essential dealings with government bodies can now be handled from a phone. Any payable government fees — such as those for passports, traffic fines, or permits — are set by the relevant ministries and paid through their linked channels rather than as Tawakkalna-specific charges.
