Team Falcons Win Rocket League Esports World Cup 2026

Saudi team Team Falcons captured the Rocket League title at the Esports World Cup 2026, defeating Spacestation Gaming 4–0 in a dominant Grand Final held in Paris. The victory marks the team's first-ever Rocket League World Cup crown after three years of competing at the event.

The Rocket League competition took place from 12 to 16 August 2026 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Team Falcons fielded a roster of Yazid "Kiileerrz" Bakhashwin, Saleh "Rw9" Bakhashwin, and Samy "dralii" Hajji. Rw9 was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

The championship earned the team a first-place prize of USD 400,000 along with 1,000 Club Championship points. With those points added, Team Falcons reached 4,400 Club Championship points and moved into first place in the overall Esports World Cup Club Championship standings — 300 points clear of the second-placed club, which holds 4,100 points.

Why it matters

The result adds to a growing list of achievements for Saudi teams on the global esports stage and reflects the Kingdom's rising presence in competitive gaming. For the region's esports community, the title is a landmark moment, capping years of persistence for a squad that had reached the event three times before finally lifting the trophy.
