Waja Market-Making to End on 15 December 2025

The Saudi Exchange has approved ending the market-making activity carried out by SNB Capital for the shares of WAJA Co. (stock code 9560), with the change taking effect on 15 December 2025.

The original approval that allowed SNB Capital to act as a market maker for WAJA had begun on 5 August 2025. Under that arrangement, the market-making obligations required a minimum presence of orders of 50%, a minimum order size of 50,000 shares, and a maximum spread of 5%, while the minimum value traded was not applicable.

Under the exchange's framework, market-making activity depends on a valid agreement with the exchange. Once that agreement is terminated, market-making for the affected security stops from the effective date. This means that, from 15 December 2025, WAJA shares will no longer benefit from the designated market maker's presence.

Why it matters

Market makers help support liquidity and reduce the gap between buy and sell prices for a stock. For investors following WAJA, the end of this activity may affect how quickly orders are matched and how tight the price spread remains on the security. Traders holding or watching WAJA shares should factor the 15 December 2025 date into their decisions.
