Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund reported a stronger financial performance for 2025, with total revenue reaching SAR 449.9 billion, a rise of about 9% compared with roughly SAR 413 billion in 2024. In US dollar terms, revenue stood at about $120 billion.
Net profit more than doubled during the year, climbing to around SAR 65.1 billion from about SAR 25.8 billion in 2024 — an increase of roughly 152%. That figure is equivalent to about $17 billion.
The Fund also grew its balance sheet, with total assets reaching approximately SAR 4.54 trillion by the end of 2025, or around $1.21 trillion. The results point to continued expansion across the Fund's local and international investment portfolio.
Why it matters for the community
The Public Investment Fund is a central engine behind rúظ رؤية السعودية 2030 and the large-scale projects reshaping the Kingdom, from new residential and entertainment destinations to transport, tourism and technology ventures. Stronger revenue and profit growth support the pace of these developments.
For residents and expats across الرياض and جدة, the Fund's performance is closely linked to job creation, new commercial districts, and the expansion of services and lifestyle options tied to national projects. Sustained financial strength suggests continued momentum in the projects that increasingly shape daily life in Saudi Arabia.
