Western Region Swimming Championship Held in Jeddah

The Saudi Swimming Championship for Western Region clubs, organizations, and Olympic federation centers took place at the Ministry of Sport pool in Jeddah, running from 17 to 19 September 2026 under the organization of the Saudi Swimming Federation.

The competition brought together 391 swimmers representing 21 clubs and academies, making it one of the region's larger gatherings for the sport this season. A team of 30 referees oversaw the races across the three days.

Al-Agher club claimed the overall first place, followed by Al-Wehda club in second and Okaz club in third.

Events of this scale give young swimmers in the western region a competitive stage to test their skills and progress, while supporting clubs and academies in developing local talent. For families and the wider community, the championship reflects the continued growth of grassroots and organized sport across the Kingdom.
