A Saudi-Chinese consortium has been awarded a SAR 1.15 billion contract (about US$306 million) to design, supply, and install curtain-wall façade systems at Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya City, within the Riyadh Region.
The contract went to IKK Fangda JV Co., a joint venture owned 51% by Shihui International Holdings, part of China Fangda Group, and 49% by Saudi Arabia's Isam Kabbani & Partners, a member of IKK Group. The deal was awarded by Uptown Stadium Construction JV, the main contractor formed by FCC Construcción and Nesma & Partners.
The scope covers the façade design, material supply, and installation for the main stadium (Lot 1) as well as the museum and ancillary buildings (Lot 3). Work is scheduled to run for 863 days, or roughly 28 months.
Part of a flagship Qiddiya project
The 45,000-seat stadium is one of the headline venues of Qiddiya, the giant entertainment and sports destination rising near Riyadh. Its main construction contract, worth around SAR 15 billion, was awarded by Qiddiya Investment Company in October 2024.
For residents in Riyadh and across the Kingdom, the agreement marks another visible step in the delivery of Qiddiya's large-scale sports infrastructure, with new jobs and specialized façade work tied to the project's build-out. No government application, fee, visa, permit, or public booking process is connected to this construction contract; it concerns the companies involved in building the stadium.
