SAR1.15bn Facade Deal for Qiddiya Stadium Signed

A Saudi-Chinese consortium has secured a contract worth SAR 1.15 billion (SAR 1.147 billion) to design, supply, and install the facade systems for Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in القدية, within the Riyadh region. The agreement was signed on 18 October 2026.

The contract was awarded to IKK Fangda JV Co., a joint venture between Shihui International Holdings, affiliated with China Fangda Group, which holds a 51% stake, and Isam Kabbani & Partners of Saudi Arabia's IKK Group, which holds 49%. The scope covers curtain-wall facade systems for the main stadium under Lot 1, as well as the museum and ancillary buildings under Lot 3.

The stadium is designed with a planned capacity of 45,000 seats. The work is scheduled to be completed over an execution period of 863 days. The main contractor for the stadium is Uptown Stadium Construction JV, a partnership between FCC Construcción and Nesma & Partners Contracting.

The award reflects the steady pace of major sports and entertainment infrastructure taking shape in القدية, one of the region's flagship developments. For residents and expats across الرياض, the project points to a growing calendar of venues expected to host matches, cultural events, and large-scale gatherings in the years ahead, adding to the Kingdom's expanding leisure and tourism offering.
