Imam University Stadium in Riyadh Tops 25,000 Seats

A major sports venue in Riyadh has expanded its capacity to more than 25,000 seats. Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud University Stadium, located within the campus of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has reached the new figure following a redevelopment of the facility.

The upgraded stadium strengthens the capital’s growing roster of large sporting venues. With seating for over 25,000 spectators, the ground is now equipped to host sizeable events and gatherings inside the university grounds.

The project reflects the wider push to expand and modernize sports infrastructure across the Kingdom, giving communities in Riyadh more spaces for competitions and public events.

For residents and visitors, the expanded capacity adds to the options available in the capital for attending matches and large-scale activities. At this stage, there is no verified entry fee, public opening hours, regular booking process, or official ticket channel for the venue, and no confirmed operating schedule has been announced.

Saudi Living will share further details on access and events at the stadium as they are officially confirmed.
